For some very weird reason, I have a craving for cold foods especially ice cream!! There was this time my best friend and I were walking in town and the weather was so cold! We went and bought ice cream and people were looking at us as if we were crazy!
Anyway, besides from that, there is a totally healthy version of ice cream, it’s called nice cream. Nice cream is a sugar-free, dairy-free dessert made by blitzing pieces of frozen fruit in a food processor or high-speed blender. It’s super sweet and can be made with so many variations of fruit. Mainly, bananas are used as the base but I preferred to go citrus.
I made my favorite flavor which I decided to share with you guys which is the pineapple – raspberry nice cream. I am obsessed with citrus fruits so definitely, it’s my favorite.
Pineapple – Raspberry Nice Cream
- 2 cups Pineapple
- 3 Tangerines
- 1 cup Raspberries
- 1 cup Water
- Freeze the pineapples, tangerines and raspberries for 2 hours.
- Blend the frozen fruits and water.
- Put the mixture in a container.
- Add some extra frozen raspberries.
- Freeze for another hour.
