Notice something new? I finally chaneged my site! Love the design but I feel like it needs more work but at least they are minor changes. Let me know how you like it. I added a few extra features like ‘Jump to Recipe’ , and enhanced the search to be more specific to what you’re looking for. Let me know what you think.
I feel like it has been a while since I posted a recipe. I have been shooting behind the scenes and the photos just ain’t it. So I have a hard time posting them. I have also picked up a liking to candles! Right now I am obsessed! I have now bought 5 candles in the last 4 months. That’s crazy…but why not treat myself. I even post them in my weekly roundups on the gram.
Besides that I shot this stunning Kiwi Lemon Kooler. I have been cutting back on the booze and I just didn’t want to have plain non-alcoholic drinks like juice and soda. It gets kinda boring so I started making and experimenting on mocktails. And I LOVE IT!
What is a mocktail?
A mocktail is a cocktail without the liquor. Instead they use juices, sodas, infused waters and many other non-alcoholic ingredients. They are especially good for people who prefer to have non-alcoholic drinks but still make it delicious. Maybe they are on medication, or pregnant or generally don’t drink, you get the idea.
There are some essentials when it comes to making a cocktail:
Fizzy Drink — Bubbles are like a party in your mouth! I used tonic water for the fizz.
Syrup — Build up your flavor profile with using all sorts of syrup, like infused syrup.
Serve it up! — Basically, serve your mocktail in proper glassware and add garnish like citrus fruit or fresh herbs.
Manifesting having this Kiwi Kooler by the beach. Cheers.
